Strange Famous is home to a lot of under-rated rappers, but Prolyphic might be my favorite. I know I'm not the only head who thinks that The Ugly Truth was ignored for no good reason. Club Metronome will be hosting a long, quality night of thoughtful hip hop on May 25th, a Wednesday, hosted by the ambitious Oh-J Fresh.
In addition to Prolyphic's headlining set, Metronome will be featuring Aleck Woog, Wombaticus Rex, and Vermont group The Earegulars will be releasing their debut album, The Seed EP. I have gotten a lot of replay out of their lead single, What to Believe:
